Hope your all enjoying our first challenge in our 2022 competition.

Here’s a bit more details on how I created my page….. including my first ever video!!  I have a lot to learn about making these, but I thought it high time I tried.

But first, the photo doesn’t show it, but this silver paint by Cadence has the most amazing shimmer to it!!  It’s quite thick, so I added the tiniest amount to a little splash of water so I could flick it on my page.

Our kit item was the chipboard stars.  For mine I painted them black then with a stiff dry brush I added some Brushed Iron Metalique Wax making sure I let the black show though.

And here is my little video, I think I had the camera a bit far way, no sounds as I haven’t perfected that bit yet!  I really wanted to show how easy it is to get a great metallic finish with very little effort using these fun waxes.  This link should take you there. Donna’s Video

I added some Nuvo drops in Silver Lining to add some extra detail.

With the acetate die-cuts I made a little shaker element.

For our requirement item, I chose to add the chipboard cat from the kit, again I paint it black then dusted off my glitters to make him nice and shinny.
