Hi everyone
I have not been doing much paper crafting lately as I am looking after my adult daughter at her home because she has broken her Tibia and Fibular and has had rods and pins inserted, and I don’t have any crafty stuff with me. I do go home on weekends and try to get as much paper crafting in as I can but I also want to spend some time with my husband who is “batching” while I am away.
What do you suggest would be a few items I could bring back to my daughter’s home to give me that crafting fix.
Thanks for your suggestions
Cheers
Julie
Hi Julie,
When I’m away from home I always take a basic tool kit – scissors, ds tape, glue, edge distresser, needle/thread, journalling pens, laundry pegs (for clamping).small punches. And I fill a few ziplock bags with paper scraps/vintage book pages/fabric scraps and miscellaneous small embellies such as bling or buttons. etc.. I make journal cards, handmade flowers (rolled or layered or concertina), and other small embeliie clusters Sometimes I’ve got a layout in mind, other times I just put them aside so they are ready to go for a future project. Keeps hands and mind busy, uses up scraps, and satisfies the creative fix!
Hope this gives you some ideas.
Thank you Karen. Lots of great ideas there. I like the idea of using scraps to make embellishments for later use.
