Theresa’s Challenge
Hello everyone and welcome to this month’s challenge Journalling. I must admit sometimes I find it hard to journal my pages thinking my handwriting is horrible and also trying to express what I feel about the photos on my page
So this month my challenge is to use the old tried and true method of;
Who, What, Where, When and Why In a bullet point format on your page
I have used the Carta Bella Rustic Elegance paper collection papers and a few hand made flowers
My page edges have been inked with Distress ink Vintage photo and my Who, What, Where, When , Why titles also stamped with the same ink
Debra’s Challenge
A big hello to everyone,
Welcome to our hand written journalling challenge. Hope your handwriting is better than mine.
Using the title stickers from Cocoa Vanilla – Sunkissed – Clear Stickers was a great starting point for my journalling. I added my journalling around my photo so my writing wouldn’t detract from my layout, if anything it draws the eye to the photo.
Journalling is a necessary part of the scrappy process, I would love to think that future generations will enjoy looking at and reading what I have journalled. After all these form part of our family history
Enjoy the challenge, embrace your handwriting
Deb

Louise’s Challenge
Journalling is something I’m so passionate about. Even if you just write the date and details on the back of the layout.
I feel it’s so important because you never know who will be looking at your layouts in the future and how frustrating is it not knowing what you’re looking at?
Using your own handwriting is also important … even if you don’t like your handwriting.
I just love looking through my Grandma’s handwritten recipe book and I hope one day someone will feel the same about my albums.
Here is my inspiration layout:
The Bee Arty “Saltwater” collection has some lovely patterned papers which I’ve used for the background here.
I’ve used ink as my border and added a little bit of Distress Ink stamping in “Tumbled Glass”.
Doodled edges and some basic embellishing to finish.
Can’t wait to see your projects.
Happy Scrapping
Louise xo
