Stencils are awesome and have so many uses. Today I wanted to show you one of my favourite ways to use them.

Start with some white cardstock and a black pen – trace the stencil onto the background.

I’ve used the Crafters Workshop Hexagon Stencil.

I’ve then used water colour to colour the hexagons.

To finish the layout I’ve used the Kaisercraft “Oh Happy Day” sticker book to embellish. A cute little photo of my boys on their birthday and I just love this background.
