Challenge 1- Debra’s challenge

Hello Everyone,

I would like you to use hidden journalling for this challenge.

Don’t forget to use Nuvo Drops somewhere on your layout.

Cocoa Vanilla  Daydream Collection– Garden Variety, All Aflutter & Happy Place

Stencil Bee Arty Stencil  Encircled

Nuvo  Drops Blue Babe

I feature fussy cutting and tearing on my layout.

I used the stencil, and dotted the pattern on my paper with a pencil, then dotted my Nuvo Drops over the pencil marks. Once these dots dried they remained raised off the paper.

Have fun creating,

Debra.

Challenge 2- Priyanka’s Challenge

Hello everyone!

This challenge is all about adding handwritten journaling on your layout and using Nuvo drops as that is our ‘Product of the Month.

Blissful Time From Mintay

Nuvo drops Nuvo glitter drops- Golden sunset / white Blizzard

Flowers

Stampendous embossing powder– Aged Ivory

Chipboard Sentiment

That’s my inspiration for you. I have used the Blissful Time paper pack from Mintay. For the layout I have just layered different papers from the paper pack in different sizes using cardboard so that each layer is distinguished and they pop out more on top of each other. Next, I have also layered the picture with cardboard and used the elements from the paper pack to make an arrangement on the top left corner and bottom right corner. I also used some die-cut leaves from my stash and the paper flowers. Then I have put a chipboard sentiment on top by heat embossing it with Stampendous aged ivory embossing powder.

Also i did some texture on the sides with a stencil and modelling paste (although it’s not much visible due to the flower clusters). Also I did some journaling on the side with a beautiful memory from that day that just completes the whole look. Last but not the least I added the nuvo drops on the sides in dots of three to highlight the panels and create some interest.

I hope you like it.
Happy Crafting!

Priyanka

Challenge 3 – Louise Challenge

Hi Crafters

Let’s talk about why we journal…

Having spent some time in nursing homes with patients who are losing their memories, I’m reminded of the importance of writing down our stories.

My hope is that someday, someone will be perusing my albums of the many, many scrapbook layouts I’ve created and that they can look back on my memories and read my thoughts from that particular time.

I encourage everyone to journal – even if it’s just the names, date and location of a photo written on the back. You never know who might look at it in the future.

So today’s project is about “Handwritten” journalling.
