This month’s feature is all about handwritten journalling!

Louise’s Challenge

Hi Crafters
I’m going all out journalling today.

Lately, I’ve been inspired by art journalling.

I’ve used Distress Inks to create a drip background.

Added a little pop of paper with the woodgrain.

Then with black pen I filled up around the photo with journalling. Then I went over it with white to take out some of the harshnesses.

I’ve added a couple of stickers around the photo but this layout is all about the story and the journalling so I didn’t need to add much.

I can’t wait to see your handwritten journalling.

Debra’s Challenge

Hi Everyone, I shuddered when I read the instruction, use your own handwriting, as I hate my handwriting. I normally write on the backs of my layouts.

But, I have done it !!!!

Using papers from Pink Paislee, I made my layout base, which I then stencilled using a script stencil with oxide ink and texture paste. I wanted to replicate handwriting.

Adding my photo and fussy cut flowers, and drawn circles, I was able to sit back and think about where I could journal so my handwriting didn’t detract from my layout.

So I journalled either side of my centre panel.

Theresa’s Challenge

Hi guys, I too was never a keen one on my handwriting, but now I know it is part of the page it tells the story of the photo and should be displayed with pride

This month my challenge is to use those Journal balloons you know like they use in cartoons. (or used to anyway) on your layout, they can be stamped ones, sticker ones or ones you create yourself

I have used paper clip balloons
