A question

by | Aug 22, 2022 | General

Hi there Ladies

I would like your help with something I have been thinking about recently…..

ARE BLOGS STILL RELEVANT ????

I recently posted a question on a blog and did not receive one comment but posting the same question on Facebook attracted an abundance of comments.

Do you still visit blogs and comment on peoples posts or do you mostly rely on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest or YouTube for your inspiration and interaction?

I would love to hear your ideas and what you find most useful, and easy to interact with.

I have found that it can be difficult to leave comments on some blogs and having to sign in to leave a comment is very off putting.

Where do you spend most of your interactive screen time?

I spend most of my time on Facebook to flick through the groups I am in and leave comments on the posts I like. If there is a YouTube link in the post I will go to YT and watch the video to see if I can pick up any useful tips or see how to do a particular technique.

When I am looking for something particular I go to Pinterest and type my requirements into the search bar. Sometimes I will scroll through Pinterest too.

For general relaxing and getting some fresh ideas I also spend time on YouTube, checking out channels I have subscribed to.

I can not remember the last time I visited a blog. On my Blog I have a list of blogs I like in the bottom right hand section and I have not clicked on one of them in a very long time. I have noticed that quite a few of them have not posted in sometime too. I also have to admit that the only time I visit my blog is when I am creating a post.

Can’t wait to hear your views.

Till next time

Stay safe

Julie

Hi Julie, I don’t think blogs are relevant anymore, not to me anyway. There aren’t any that i read.
I am always on FB and Pinterest, not so much on Insta.

My blog has only ever been for me to put all my creative stuff in one place. Nobody visits, but that’s not what it’s for. My FB account is for keeping up with family and friends news and goings on and is not for public viewing. I like to keep them separate.
