Welcome to Februarys Tips, Tricks and Techniques
Anyone who has ever made an album or made a multi-layered page would have heard the word
Burnish
This is how we make sure the tape and or glue is securely adhered to the pieces we are using
Quite often this is done using a bone scorer and rubbing over the top of your tape before you remove the backing
And then again once you have stuck the pieces together
However, I prefer to use my brayer
I give my tape strips a very good burnish with my brayer then remove the backing off the tape
Add some glue stick it all down and then run my brayer over it all again ensuring I get a really good secure contact between the tape and pages
Until next time keep creating
Theresa
