Louise’s Challenge

Hi Crafters, Louise here. Happy New Year!
Welcome back for our first challenge of the year.  I hope you’ll enjoy the 1-2-3 challenge I’ve set for you.

Here is the inspiration:

I’d like you to use:

1 x bright colour – 2 x word title – 3 x arrows

I started with the background paper from Uniquely Creative

The paper already had that pop of colour so I decided to roll with it and include some more colour.

I used the Colour Blast Shimmer Dust Sunflower and lots of extra splatters.  After the mixed media had dried I added some stamping using the Uniquely stamp “Splatter mark”

I’ve used lots of stash papers to build layers behind my photos.

This month we are focusing on twine/string/ribbon elements on our layouts. Once I was happy with my paper layers, I poked some holes in my background and threaded some twine through.

My title and arrows are from Cocoa Vanilla Studio.

Theresa’s Challenge

Hello everyone and welcome to 2023

I am so happy to be part of the Design Team for Mystical Scrapbookers and look forward to creating lots of inspirational projects and challenges for you all throughout the year

First up for January we have our 1,2,3 challenge

and for this I have chosen

1 Title – 2 Photos – 3 Pattern Papers

My layout is inspired by this beautiful wall of Butterflies on the Quantum of the Seas cruise ship I was on in November last year

Debra’s Challenge

Hi everyone, Welcome to our first challenge for 2023, I am excited to share with you my first challenge as part of the design team.  This month we have a 123 challenge, but you must use our product of the month Lace, Ribbon or twine.

I would like you to use white cardstock for your background.

1 photo, 2 patterned papers and 3 embellishment clusters.

I used papers from Uniquely Creative – Boho Picnic – Paper Ophelia and

Uniquely Creative – Boho Picnic – Paper Willow

             I added lace to my patterned paper strips,  added my photo, then made my embellishment clusters, using Uniquely Creative – Boho Picnic Creative Cuts and some fussy cut images

Finally I rubbed some Oxide ink  around my layout and Faux stitched around the layers so they stood out.
