Welcome to our June challenges… This month we are all about Titles!

Titles can add another whole dimension to your pages… Bold, Quotes, Funny/Silly and our DT girls have come up with some great challenges and some may be some new ways you can add titles to your pages.

Challenge One
I would like to see everyone pick a quote and use alphas of different sizes and colours to complete their title.

Hi everyone, Debra Here with my inspiration for this month’s challenge.

I chose a quote and drew a circle and spaced fonts of different sizes and colours around it, spelling out my quote.

My quote says-

‘I don’t have an ATTITUDE, Just a PERSONALITY  you can’t handle”

I would like to see everyone pick a quote and use alphas of different sizes and colours to complete their title.

Challenge Two

Debra here again,

This time I am filling in for Theresa, who is out of action after surgery on her arm. We hope she’s resting up and on the mend.

I used the Title  Just as SWEET as can be…….

For my main word, I used large white letters and all other words were small coloured letters.

I would like everyone to create a five word title, using 2 different sized letters – a combination of small letters and large letters

Challenge Three

Hi Crafters

Louise here.
My challenge for you this month is a little different.

1st you’ll need a half-used sheet of alphas … I’ve used Thickers. Optional is an extra piece of plastic.

Using the letters available to you I want you to make words. You won’t use all of them but it’ll give you quite a few words just using letters that are left.

The biggest issue is the lack of vowels and in my case “E’s” … you have to be a bit creative with your words – or with some thickers sets you can turn your “F’s” into “E’s”

So from this sheet of letters I have 10 words total.

This is a much better outcome than that letter sheet sitting unused in my draw.

So once you have your words, your challenge is to use them on a layout.

Here is my inspiration:

I’ve used the word “July” from my Thickers challenge words sheet and teamed it with Cocoa Vanilla Studio “Happy Days” collection.

My layout didn’t really have a place for journalling so I wrote the story on the back.
