Welcome to our November challenges…
Using plain cardstock, I grabbed some background stamps to create a background.
I randomly stamped with embossing ink, then sprinkled it with embossing powders and heat set. I used one stamp at a time, heat setting as I went. For this page I’ve used;
Tim Holtz Distress Ink Embossing Ink
WOW Super Fine Embossing Metallic Rich Gold Pale and Angel Eyes
Zing Opaque Embossing Powder Brown Sugars and Rose – Current in our 50% Clearance
Next, I stamped my flowers and leaves onto scraps of white cardstock, again using and heat setting the embossing powders. I fussy cut all these pieces. then added more colour using a water brush and Oxide inks.
Layer these pieces accordingly
Have fun creating

Challenge 3 – Louise’s challenge
Stamping + Stars
Hi Crafters
Louise here.
Today’s challenge is all about Stamping!
But as an additional requirement, I want you to include more than one star on your layout.
Here is my inspiration layout:
I find that when new Christmas ranges come out, it’s a good chance to scrap last years Christmas photos and do a bit of catching up.
I’ve started with papers from the Uniquely Creative “Holly, Jolly Christmas”.
To add a little flair, I’ve used the Dusty Attic Stars chipboard and treated it with Silver embossing powder.
Lately I’ve really enjoyed adding distressed edges. To create more interest in the background I’ve also added some pieces from the Butterflies & Book pages washi roll.
I had to of course add a few more stars with my background stamping. I’ve used Distress Ink “Candied Apple” to blend with my colour scheme.
Finally to embellish I’ve added the gorgeous Poinsettia flowers.
I’m so looking forward to seeing your stamped and star featured layouts.
Happy Scrapping.
