This months feature technique is heat embossing. So today I want to show you how to use your heat gun with foil.

I just love background texture and foil really brings it to that next level.

I’ve started with the Bee Arty “On Point” stencil and used Deco Foil transfer gel through it.

When the gel is dry, I’m using Fab Foil “teal” with my heat gun to colour the gel. It’s hard to see but it has a gorgeous shimmer.

I use the end of my rubber brush tool to attach the foil to the gel. I quite like the messy look but if you add more heat and more pressure you can get a more even cover.

To finish this layout I’m also using the “Joyful” collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio and the “Daydream” die cut titles.
